iLOTBet Cashback
Cashback returns part of what you lost over a period. It is the easiest promotion to value because it is based on play that has already happened, and it is the least likely to push you into games or stakes you would not otherwise choose. Whether your iLOTBet account has a cashback offer, at what rate and with which conditions, is set by the operator and shown on the promotions page after login. This guide explains the mechanics so you can read any cashback offer quickly.
Look for cashback at iLOTBetHow cashback is calculated
Most cashback is based on net loss: deposits minus withdrawals and the balance left at the end of the period, or stakes minus winnings on qualifying games. The percentage is then applied to that figure, often with a cap. A worked example with invented numbers: if you staked KSh 8,000 on qualifying games over a week and won back KSh 5,000, the net loss is KSh 3,000; a 10% cashback would return KSh 300. If you finished the week ahead, there is no net loss and nothing to return. Bonus money is often excluded from the calculation, so only real-money play counts.
Daily cashback and weekly cashback
The period matters more than it looks. Daily cashback settles every 24 hours, so a bad day is softened quickly, but a loss on Monday and a win on Tuesday do not cancel out. Weekly cashback nets the whole week together: good and bad days balance, and the return is calculated once on the total. Neither is better in principle; the right one depends on how often you play. Whatever the period, note the moment it closes and the moment the cashback is credited — they are rarely the same.
Loss cashback versus turnover rebates
Loss cashback depends on losing; a turnover rebate pays a small percentage of everything you stake, win or lose. The rebate is smaller per shilling but arrives even in winning periods. Because it rewards volume, it can quietly encourage longer sessions — worth remembering if you notice yourself playing to "earn" the rebate. Loss cashback is the gentler of the two: it only pays when things have gone badly.
Is cashback an insurance bonus?
Some promotions are framed as insurance: a refund if a particular bet loses or if a session ends below a threshold. On the sports side, bet insurance usually returns a losing stake as a free bet rather than cash. In the casino, an insurance bonus is effectively a one-off cashback on a single deposit or session. The difference from ordinary cashback is scope, not principle — and in all cases the refund may arrive as bonus money with its own playthrough.

A sane way to use it
Cashback is a cushion, not a plan. The only sensible way to use it is to set your budget first and treat any return as a small bonus if a period goes badly. Chasing a cashback threshold by depositing more is exactly the pattern responsible gambling tools are built to stop. Licensed operators in Kenya have to provide deposit, loss and session limits and reality checks; setting a weekly loss limit alongside a weekly cashback keeps both on the same calendar. Our responsible gambling guide explains each tool.
Cashback in the iLOTBet cashier and balance
When cashback is credited, it usually appears in the transaction history with its own label and either in the cash balance or in the bonus balance. Check which one: cash cashback can be withdrawn like any other money once verification is done, while bonus cashback has to be wagered first. If a payment you expected does not appear, compare the period dates and the qualifying games with your play, then ask support with the dates in hand. Players who top up by phone should also keep their M-Pesa or Airtel Money receipts — they make it easy to reconstruct deposits for a period if the cashback figure ever looks wrong.
