How to withdraw at iLOTBet

A withdrawal is where an account proves itself. Depositing takes a minute on any method; getting money back to your M-Pesa line, bank account or card depends on paperwork you prepared earlier and on choices you made at your first top-up. This guide explains how to withdraw from an iLOTBet account as a player in Kenya: the steps, the checks, what the law does and does not promise about timing, and what to do when a cashout sits still. The set of methods and limits depends on your account — check the iLOTBet cashier. Every method has its own page under payment methods.

Withdrawal steps

  1. Log in and open the cashier's withdrawal tab. Check the balance marked as withdrawable — bonus money still under wagering is usually shown separately and cannot be cashed out yet.
  2. Choose a payout method. The list may be shorter than the deposit list; it often shows only routes you have already used and verified.
  3. Enter the amount within the minimum withdrawal and maximum withdrawal shown for that method.
  4. Complete verification if the cashier asks for it, then confirm. Keep the request reference the cashier gives you.

The table describes how these routes normally behave; it is not a list of what iLOTBet offers to your account, and it deliberately carries no times or amounts. Those belong to the operator and are shown in the cashier.

Payout speed: what decides it

Two clocks run one after the other. The first is the operator's: a request waits in a review queue while the finance team checks the account, the verification file and any recent bonus activity. The second is the payment route's: a mobile-money payout is usually quick once released, a bank transfer follows banking days and cut-offs, a card refund depends on the issuing bank. Kenyan law fixes one point for licensees — a monetary online win must be credited to the player's account within two days (Gambling Control Act 2025, s.70(1)). That rule is about your casino balance. It is not a promise about when money reaches your phone or bank.

Verification & same-method rule

Expect identity checks before the first cashout. In Kenya the reference document is the national ID card or passport, and a licensee must confirm you are of age before paying out a prize (s.70(6)). The cashier may also ask you to show that the payout route is yours: a mobile-money line registered in your name, a bank statement, or a card image with the middle digits covered. Money generally returns by the route it came in — a deposit from M-Pesa is paid back to the same number — which is why mixing in a relative's line or card at deposit time causes trouble weeks later.

Withdrawal limits and frequency

Every route carries a minimum withdrawal and a maximum withdrawal per request, often with daily or monthly ceilings as well; the cashier shows them next to each method. A mobile wallet also has its own balance and transaction ceilings set by the wallet provider, so a large win may need to go to a bank account or be paid in parts. Many small requests in a row can trigger extra review rather than speed things up. Taxes on payouts: official sources currently disagree on whether and how much is withheld on withdrawals or winnings, so we quote no rate — read the figure the cashier states before you confirm.

If a withdrawal hasn't arrived

Check the status first. "Pending" means the operator has not released the money; "approved" or "sent" means it is with the payment route. In the first case the cause is usually a missing document, a name mismatch or unfinished wagering — support can tell you which. In the second, your mobile-money service or bank can trace it with the reference. If the operator will not settle a dispute, licensed operators' customers can complain to the Gambling Regulatory Authority, and online gambling disputes can be appealed to the Gambling Appeals Tribunal within 14 days (s.80). Our complaints page has the order of steps.

A balance you stopped using

If a licensee's account records no transaction for three months, the law requires the licensee to remit the balance to the player (s.77(1)). It is still far simpler to withdraw what you want to keep before you stop playing, while your verification is current.

See all payment methods

Withdrawal methods are listed in the cashier in the order the operator chooses, and the list can differ from the deposit list. A cashout to the route you deposited with is normally the shortest path; any other payout route is something to agree with support before you request it.
