Wagering Requirements at iLOTBet

Almost every bonus comes with a wagering requirement — the amount you have to stake before bonus money becomes withdrawable. It is the single number that decides whether an offer is generous or merely large. The multiplier attached to each iLOTBet promotion is set by the operator and printed in that offer's terms; this page explains how to turn any multiplier into a realistic picture of the work involved, using made-up figures in Kenyan shillings.

Rollover, playthrough, wagering: one idea

The three words mean the same thing. A requirement written as "30x" tells you to stake thirty times a base amount. The base is the key detail: it may be the bonus alone, or the deposit plus the bonus. Each stake counts once, whether it wins or loses, so a KSh 100 bet counts KSh 100 towards the target regardless of the result.

How wagering works: worked examples

Hypothetical offerBaseTotal to stake
KSh 1,000 bonus, 30x on bonusKSh 1,000KSh 30,000
KSh 1,000 deposit + KSh 1,000 bonus, 30x on bothKSh 2,000KSh 60,000
KSh 400 free-spin winnings, 35xKSh 400KSh 14,000

None of these figures are iLOTBet's; they show how much the base changes the job. Divide the total by your usual stake to see how many rounds it means. At KSh 50 a spin, KSh 30,000 is 600 rounds — and every round carries the house edge, which is why most bonus balances run out before the target is met.

Game contribution

Not every game counts in full. A common pattern is that slots contribute 100%, while table games, live tables and some crash or instant games contribute a fraction or nothing. Jackpot slots, lotto-style draws and number games are often excluded entirely while a bonus is active. If a game contributes 10%, a KSh 100 stake moves the counter by only KSh 10 — so a requirement that looks manageable on slots can become impossible on live roulette. The contribution table in the offer's terms is the reference.

Time limit

Requirements come with a deadline, counted from the moment the bonus is credited. When it passes, the unfinished bonus and any winnings attached to it are removed. Shorter deadlines change the arithmetic: 600 rounds in thirty days is a different proposition from 600 rounds in seven. Note the expiry date when you accept the offer, not when you remember it.

Bonus balance versus cash balance

While a bonus is active, the account often shows two balances. The terms decide which is used first. If cash is used first, you can stop at any point before touching bonus money and withdraw what remains of your deposit, usually forfeiting the bonus. If bonus money is used first, or the two are locked together, your deposit may be tied up until the requirement is met. This is the clause to read before any deposit you might want to withdraw quickly.

Tracking progress

Most accounts show a progress bar or a remaining amount for each active bonus. Check it after your first few rounds to make sure your game is actually counting. If the counter does not move, you may be playing an excluded or reduced-contribution title. Screenshots of the progress screen are useful if you later need to raise a question with support.

Mistakes that void a bonus

Bonus wagering explained step by step

To judge any offer in under a minute: first find the multiplier and its base, and multiply them. Second, divide the result by your normal stake to get the number of rounds. Third, check the contribution of the games you actually play and adjust. Fourth, compare the rounds with the deadline. If the answer is more play than you would do anyway, the bonus is asking you to change your habits, and that is a good reason to decline. Kenyan law allows bonus bets in the ordinary course of business but does not allow betting on credit, and no requirement is worth borrowing to finish. Before any long playthrough, set a deposit or session limit in your account — licensed operators in Kenya have to provide them. The general rules behind every offer are on our bonus terms page, and the overview of all offers is on the bonus hub.
